• Former "Da Band" member Sara Rivers is suing Sean "Diddy" Combs, alleging unpaid dues, broken promises, and abuse.
  • The lawsuit cites sexual harassment and assault, naming Diddy, MTV, Viacom, and others.
  • Diddy’s team denies the claims, calling it a "money grab" tied to legal deadlines.

Sean "Diddy" Combs is once again in legal hot water. This time, Sara Rivers, a former member of “Da Band”, has filed a lawsuit accusing the music mogul of breaking promises and withholding payments. Rivers, best known for her appearance on the 2000s reality series “Making Da Band,” claims Diddy failed to compensate her for her work with the group, including music contributions and public appearances.

In the lawsuit, Rivers alleges that she suffered both financial and emotional damages due to Diddy’s actions. She says he ignored her efforts to resolve unpaid compensation, leaving her feeling exploited and neglected. The suit also aligns with past accusations from other artists—many mentioning unpaid royalties and false promises, signaling a pattern of disputes surrounding the Bad Boy Records founder.

Sexual Harassment Allegations Add to the Case

Rivers’ claims go further, accusing Diddy of sexual harassment and assault. She alleges that he once cornered her and ran his hand across her chest despite her clear resistance. The lawsuit also names MTV, Viacom, and several Bad Boy associates, including Diddy’s mother, Janice, and his former assistant, Fonzworth Bentley. These allegations expand the scope of accountability beyond Diddy himself.

Diddy’s Legal Team Hits Back

In response, Diddy’s lawyers dismissed the lawsuit as a “money grab,” suggesting it was opportunistic due to the looming deadline for New York’s Gender-Motivated Violence Act. They stated, “With deadlines expiring tomorrow, it’s clear opportunists are filing meritless last-minute claims. Mr. Combs is confident he will prevail.”

More Accusations Surface

Rivers isn’t the only artist to raise concerns. Last year, Dawn Richard, of Danity Kane, sued Diddy for mistreatment, citing sexual advances and bullying during and after her time on the reality show.
