Podcaster Joe Rogan has entered the conversation surrounding the heated legal battle between Ryan Reynolds, Blake Lively, and It Ends with Us actor-director Justin Baldoni. Rogan, never one to shy away from controversy, firmly sided with Baldoni, calling the situation “crazy” and criticizing Lively and Reynolds for what he sees as a misstep in their approach.

“They f—– up,” Rogan said on his podcast. “Ryan’s trying to get out of it now. He’s trying to get out of the lawsuit, and they’re like, ‘you are a key part of this.’ Baldoni’s suing The New York Times, and he’s got a great case there, too. Especially a guy like that who's, like, known for being a really sweet, nice guy, and then he’s, like, ‘Alright, enough.’”

The legal clash started late last year when Blake Lively filed a lawsuit against Justin Baldoni. She alleged inappropriate on-set behavior, harassment, and even an ongoing smear campaign during the production of Sony Pictures’ It Ends with Us, which Baldoni not only starred in but also produced and directed.

The Legal Back-and-Forth

In response, Baldoni countersued, filing a massive $400 million lawsuit against Lively, her husband Ryan Reynolds, and her PR representative Leslie Sloane. His claims ranged from extortion and defamation to breach of contract. Baldoni also launched a separate $250 million libel lawsuit against The New York Times. The tension between the two sides has only escalated since then.

Rogan continued, highlighting receipts from alleged text conversations. “You literally have a text exchange back and forth,” he said. “They just never thought that anybody was going to come out with the receipts.”

A Hopeful Outlook
