CatholicVote, a conservative Catholic advocacy group, has initiated an advertising blitz across pivotal swing states to spotlight Vice President Kamala Harris’s endorsement of government-funded gender transition medical procedures for minors.

Utilizing Medicaid statistics as its foundation, the campaign seeks to unveil the current administration’s allocation of taxpayer money toward such surgeries, which notably include mastectomies, hysterectomies, and genital surgeries on individuals under the age of 18.

Launching these advertisements on Monday, CatholicVote aims to engage and inform Catholic constituents and parents residing in swing states about what it views as the troubling practices sanctioned by the Biden-Harris administration. One Pennsylvania-focused advertisement starkly announces that Medicaid records have documented 97 young girls receiving complete mastectomy operations and 14 undergoing hysterectomies.

Labeling these medical interventions as “taxpayer-subsidized experiments on children,” the ad forcefully argues against such treatments: “Sex-change surgeries that aim to transform boys into girls, genital amputations — does this sound bizarre? Repulsive? It undoubtedly is. And your tax dollars are financing it. Kamala Harris advocates for these government-paid sex change procedures. Casting a vote for Harris equates to endorsing medical experimentation on children.”

Tommy Valentine, spearheading CatholicVote’s Catholic Accountability Project, expressed his motivations for exposing what he describes as the harsh realities of transgender surgeries administered to minors: “It’s high time someone brought attention to the severe nature of what these ‘surgeries’ truly entail for children. Far from benign medical procedures, these are irreversible mutilations with lasting implications.” He further emphasized the discomforting truth that American taxpayers are unwittingly funding these operations through their taxes — a situation he predicts will only worsen if Harris is elected, potentially leading to thousands more children enduring such life-altering surgeries.

CatholicVote President Brian Burch elaborated on the extent of these surgical interventions across America: “Countless transgender surgeries are being performed on minors nationwide — from double mastectomies on young girls to genital surgeries on boys and extensive skin grafts covering numerous parts of the body.” Burch criticized the Biden-Harris administration for using federal funds to cover these procedures today while Harris champions an expansion of what he termed “medical experiments on kids.” He explained that the graphic nature of their advertisements serves a purpose: “The truth is indeed harrowing. Our nation’s children are being subjected to disfigurement and sterilization.”

Highlighting specific instances from their research, CatholicVote’s advertisements reveal that in Michigan alone, 35 young girls underwent double mastectomy operations and seven received hysterectomies as part of gender transition efforts. Similarly grim figures were reported in Wisconsin, with 86 girls experiencing double mastectomies and 12 undergoing hysterectomies.

To broaden its reach among Hispanic-American Catholics, CatholicVote has also released an advertisement in Spanish targeting Nevada voters, where they report 18 underage girls had double mastectomies and three had hysterectomies.

Brian Burch posed a rhetorical question regarding future implications should Harris achieve victory: “With already alarmingly high numbers of such surgeries occurring under her watchful eye as vice president, one can only imagine how many more innocent lives might be irreversibly altered if she continues in power.”

The Biden-Harris ticket has consistently been at the forefront in advocating for gender transition procedures among minors. Harris’s proposed policies underscore her commitment to advancing transgender rights further by proposing changes in civil rights laws concerning sexual orientation and gender identity — moves critics argue could compel American Christians to compromise their deeply held religious convictions or face legal repercussions.

Moreover, Harris has voiced support for using federal funds not just within domestic confines but also extending gender transition procedures to federal prisoners and detained illegal immigrants — positions that have sparked considerable controversy even among mainstream media outlets.

Reflecting upon CatholicVote’s advertising initiative aimed at raising awareness about Kamala Harris’s stance on transgender issues involving minors, Family Research Council Senior Fellow Meg Kilgannon commended their efforts: “Vice President Harris unabashedly aligns herself with extreme LGBTQ+ agendas.”

From her tenure in Californian politics through her current role within national governance, Kilgannon observes, “She harbors belief systems that challenge natural biological truths asserting that individuals can be born into incorrect bodies necessitating sex changes.”
