Speaking to supporters at the Circa Resort & Casino, Trump said he would “think about it again,” though he emphasized the need for significant reforms before making any formal decision.

Trump Criticizes WHO Funding Disparities

Trump expressed his frustration over what he perceives as unequal financial contributions to the WHO. He pointed out that the U.S. provides $500 million annually, while China, with a population of 1.4 billion, contributes just $39 million. The former president argued that such disparities need to be addressed if the U.S. is to reconsider its membership in the 194-member organization.

“They have to clean it up a bit,” Trump remarked, reiterating his belief that the WHO has failed to implement critical reforms. His initial efforts to withdraw the U.S. from the WHO were halted by President Joe Biden, who reversed the decision on his first day in office.

Tax Reform Promises and IRS Cuts

During the rally, Trump also announced plans to propose tax reforms aimed at protecting workers’ earnings. Specifically, he promised to ensure that tips for service workers remain untaxed.

“Your tips will be 100% yours. Isn’t that great?” Trump said, receiving applause from the crowd.

In addition, he criticized the Biden administration’s allocation of $72 billion to hire 80,000 new IRS agents. Trump vowed to block these hires, stating, “We’re developing a plan to either terminate all of them, or maybe we’ll move them to the border.” His comments aligned with his ongoing criticism of what he calls “government overreach.”

Trump’s stop in Las Vegas came as part of his post-inauguration tour to thank supporters. He celebrated his historic victory in Nevada, where he defeated Vice President Kamala Harris by 46,000 votes.

“I just came here to thank the people of Nevada for giving us such a big win,” Trump said.

He also used the rally to highlight the nearly 350 executive actions he claims to have signed in his first week back in the White House. These actions, he said, aim to reverse policies of the Biden administration, including closing the border and restoring law and order.

“Our message couldn’t be clearer: America’s decline is over,” Trump declared, energizing the crowd.
