What Are Ovarian Cysts?

According to the Mayo Clinic, ovarian cysts are fluid-filled sacs that form on or inside the ovaries. “Most of the time, you have little or no discomfort, and the cysts are harmless,” the Mayo Clinic explains. However, complications can arise if the cysts twist or rupture, which may lead to serious symptoms requiring medical attention.

A History of Speaking Out About Health

This isn’t the first time Hailey has been candid about her health. In 2022, she was hospitalized after experiencing stroke-like symptoms, later revealing she suffered from a blood clot in her brain. Testing showed she had a patent foramen ovale (PFO), a small hole in her heart. Hailey underwent surgery to close the opening and shared her story in a YouTube video, thanking her medical team for their care.

Family Life and Looking Forward

Hailey and her husband, Justin Bieber, recently welcomed their son, Jack, in August 2024. The couple, who got engaged in 2018 and married shortly after, continue to share glimpses of their personal lives with fans.
