The Mystery Houseguest Has Everyone Guessing

Adding to the buzz is the news of a 17th houseguest whose identity remains a mystery. In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, host Julie Chen Moonves dropped a juicy hint: “That person is epic. And that person is also very polarizing.”

Could it be a returning player? A controversial reality TV figure? A celebrity in disguise? CBS is keeping fans guessing—and holding off on revealing the twist until the July 13 episode.

Welcome to Hotel Mystère

Season 27’s house has been reimagined as Hotel Mystère, a vintage-inspired luxury hotel loaded with surprises. Think: sleeper car-themed beds, secret passageways, and a reception wall featuring 75 locked key boxes—some of which will contain “skeleton keys and clues,” according to CBS.
