Authorities were called to the property at 3:41 a.m. on June 27 in response to reports of the unresponsive child. Emergency responders transported Aria to a hospital, where she was pronounced dead at 4:28 a.m.

Autopsy Findings Contradict Initial Account

Initial reports suggested the child had drowned, but an autopsy on July 2 revealed otherwise. The medical examiner found no water in Aria’s lungs or stomach, ruling out drowning as the cause of death.
