• Elon Musk publicly criticized President Trump’s handling of the Jeffrey Epstein case, mocking the administration’s failure to make arrests or release promised documents. The DOJ memo, released quietly, concluded there was no Epstein client list and no proof of murder—fueling renewed calls for transparency and accountability from both critics and conspiracy theorists.

AUSTIN, TX (TDR) — Elon Musk escalated his public feud with President Trump on Monday, mocking the administration’s failure to deliver promised accountability in the long-running Jeffrey Epstein scandal. The tech mogul posted a viral image on X showing “The Official Jeffrey Epstein Pedophile Arrest Counter,” which displayed a bold “0000” — a scathing commentary on the lack of prosecutions.

Musk Slams DOJ Memo as Whitewash

The timing of Musk’s post came just hours after Axios reported on a two-page memo from the Department of Justice and FBI. The memo stated there is no evidence that Epstein maintained a blackmail client list or that he was murdered in prison — contrary to what many Americans believe.

“What’s the time? Oh look, it’s no-one-has-been-arrested-o’clock again …,” Musk wrote, amplifying skepticism that federal authorities have fully investigated Epstein’s vast and politically explosive network.

Musk responded to another post Monday morning calling out the administration’s reversal on the so-called “Epstein list,” saying, “This is the final straw.” His remarks appeared to echo broader frustration with both the Justice Department’s findings and President Trump’s retreat from transparency pledges.

Public Doubts Linger Despite Official Findings

A recent Rasmussen poll found 62% of Americans believe Epstein was murdered to protect powerful individuals. Despite this widespread public doubt, the DOJ memo aligns with the New York medical examiner’s controversial ruling that Epstein died by suicide in 2019.

According to Axios, the DOJ found “no prosecutable evidence” linking other individuals to Epstein’s crimes. It also suggested that no additional charges would be filed, a conclusion that has further inflamed online speculation and calls for independent oversight.

“This feels more like a cover-up than a conclusion,” said Jim Agresti, policy analyst and president of Just Facts. “The public has been lied to too many times, and now they’re expected to take the DOJ at its word without any transparency? That’s not how accountability works.”

Trump–Musk Rift Turns Personal and Political

President Trump and Elon Musk’s relationship has rapidly deteriorated in recent months. Musk accused Trump of trying to suppress Epstein-related information, stating bluntly last month: “[Trump] is in the Epstein files. That is the real reason they have not been made public.”

The president fired back Sunday, calling Musk a “TRAIN WRECK” and slamming his attempt to create a third political party as “complete and total disruption and chaos.” The exchange followed Trump’s threat to cancel federal contracts with companies aligned with Musk’s financial backers — turning what began as a policy disagreement into a full-blown political war.

Musk’s persistent trolling is reshaping the conversation around elite accountability in America. Whether or not his accusations hold water, the billionaire is channeling a growing national unease.

Is the DOJ protecting powerful elites — or has the truth already been buried with Epstein?
