WASHINGTON, D.C. (TDR) — Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) sharply criticized Fox News host Mark Levin Monday, accusing him of trying to drag President Donald J. Trump into foreign conflicts. Greene’s comments reflect a growing unease among some Trump supporters about the president’s continued backing of Ukraine’s war against Russia and Israel’s military operations in Gaza.

America First vs. Neoconservative Influence

Known for her staunch “America First” stance, Greene has been vocal in condemning U.S. involvement abroad. Last week, she went as far as calling Israel’s actions in Gaza “genocide,” underscoring her disapproval of current foreign policy decisions.

Appearing on Monday’s Bolling! show on Real America’s Voice, Greene warned that the Republican Party risks losing voters if it persists in supporting what she called a neoconservative agenda.

“The Republican Party is going to lose people drastically unless they get with the program and get on the America First train,” Greene said. “That’s what President Trump has always been about — America First.”

She accused Levin and Senator Lindsey Graham (R-SC), a known foreign policy hawk, of pulling Trump toward endorsing costly foreign wars.

Redirecting Focus to Domestic Priorities

Greene called on the federal government to stop “creating jobs” through defense contracts, arguing instead for boosting domestic employment in other industries.

“We can create a lot of other jobs in America instead of building weapons to destroy and kill people,” she said. “But I think that’s what’s happening.”

She criticized Washington lobbyists and defense contractors for influencing policy and expressed concern that Trump receives constant calls from foreign leaders demanding support.

“The American people are the ones that matter the most,” Greene emphasized. “That’s who he should be talking to, and that is where we need his interest to get redirected back to.”

Calls for Congressional Change

Greene closed her remarks by stating that significant reforms are needed within Congress to realign priorities away from endless foreign entanglements.
