- UFC fighter Sean Strickland shocked MAGA circles by declaring he’d back a Democrat over any AIPAC-aligned Republican, blasting foreign influence in American politics and warning of potential “armed revolution.”
LAS VEGAS, Nev. (TDR) — Sean Strickland, the outspoken conservative MMA star known for his public support of President Donald Trump, stunned his MAGA following Thursday with a fiery social media post condemning Republican candidates aligned with the pro-Israel lobbying group AIPAC, vowing instead to vote for a Democrat if necessary.
“I cant believe Im saying this but I will vote for a democrat over an aipac republican candidate,” Strickland posted, calling such candidates “owned by a foreign government.” He added, “4 years of a Democrat sounds easier than a politician owned by a foreign government. Ted Cruz really was a sobering reminder of how owned our politicians are.”
Strickland’s post instantly drew widespread attention from conservative and populist factions, many of whom have grown increasingly skeptical of Washington’s unflinching support for Israel amid rising domestic discontent.

When one user pointed out that many Democrats are also aligned with AIPAC, Strickland drew a hard line:
“That is a line in the sand for me.”
In another dramatic escalation, he added:
“I guess an armed revolution is the only option at this point.”

Former Trump adviser Steve Bannon shared the post, writing, “Younger Generations are Telling MAGA: Heed This Warning.”
Strickland has long been a volatile but influential voice among anti-establishment conservatives. In February 2024, he famously squared off with Trump in a mock fight at a UFC event and praised him after the election, posting: “Absolute legend! Can’t wait to see the next 4 years.”
But his recent rhetoric suggests a shift. Strickland has also criticized the Trump administration’s handling of the Epstein files and slammed its decision to support Israel’s bombing campaign in Iran.
Is MAGA ready to confront its foreign policy contradictions—or will it silence voices like Strickland’s?
