- Registered Republican Haley Robson called for Trump’s impeachment over handling of Epstein files on December 23
- Justice Department blew past congressionally mandated December 19 deadline to release documents
- Survivor accused administration of protecting themselves rather than victims with heavy redactions
WASHINGTON, DC (TDR) — A prominent Jeffrey Epstein survivor who previously supported President Donald Trump withdrew her backing on December 23, calling for his impeachment over the administration’s handling of court-ordered document releases related to the sex trafficking investigation.
Former Trump Supporter Calls For Removal
Haley Robson, a registered Republican who lobbied extensively for government transparency, told CNN she was “disgusted” with the administration’s delayed and heavily redacted release of Epstein investigation files.
“I redact any support I’ve ever given to him, Pam Bondi, Kash Patel,” Robson said. “I am so disgusted with this administration. I think that Pam Bondi and Kash Patel both need to resign, and I would love to see number 47 get impeached over this.”

The Epstein survivor Trump impeachment comments came after the Department of Justice missed its congressionally mandated December 19 deadline to publicly release all unclassified files related to the Epstein probe. The Epstein Files Transparency Act passed the House 427-1 and the Senate unanimously before Trump signed it into law on November 19.
When asked if Attorney General Pam Bondi should be held in contempt, Robson said Bondi needs to be “held more than in contempt. Absolutely.”
Justice Department Defends Partial Release
The DOJ released thousands of heavily redacted documents but acknowledged it still has “hundreds of thousands of pages” to review. Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche defended the partial release, saying staffers needed more time to protect victim identities.

“There’s a lot of eyes looking at these and we want to make sure that when we do produce the materials we are producing, that we are protecting every single victim,” Blanche told Fox News.
However, survivors reported that many released documents left victim identities unredacted while heavily obscuring other information. One survivor told CNN her name appeared visible in multiple places despite supposed privacy protections.
The released files included internal notes showing Trump took at least eight flights on Epstein’s private jet in the 1990s and unverified FBI tips about Trump attending parties with Epstein, though authorities have never accused Trump of criminal wrongdoing related to the case.
Survivor Questions Administration Motives
Robson, who met Epstein as a 16-year-old high school student in 2002, has been a vocal advocate for transparency throughout 2025. She spoke at multiple Capitol Hill news conferences urging lawmakers to force document releases.
The Epstein survivor Trump impeachment shift represents a dramatic reversal for Robson, who voted for Trump in the 2024 presidential election and publicly supported his first term. She said conversations with other survivors from different countries changed her perspective.
“If you’re telling the public and the world and the survivors that just because somebody is in a picture with him doesn’t automatically mean they were involved in the crimes against children — which I understand, and I get that fully — then why are you so scared to release the files and why has there been so much resistance?” Robson questioned.
Congressional Democrats Threaten Action
Representative Ro Khanna (D-CA), who co-authored the transparency legislation, said he is considering filing articles of impeachment against Bondi over the DOJ’s failure to comply. Republican Representative Thomas Massie (R-KY) also warned of potential impeachment proceedings if the administration continues stonewalling.
Will the Justice Department face accountability for missing the deadline, or will political realities prevent action against Trump administration officials?

Seriously? Like President Trump had the 100% power! The Justice Dept., should be the ones held responsible. OVERSIGHT? I would hope that He calls for a thorough investigation. One of the Victims was not afraid to come forward, and others should not be either, unless they were willingly complicit! Something is off!
