James Harden had held the previous record with 58 points for the Houston Rockets on Feb. 28, 2019. Doncic erased it in the third quarter and kept going.
The line:
- 60 points on 18-30 from the field, 9-17 from three, 15-19 from the free-throw line
- 7 rebounds, 5 steals, 3 assists

The Heat actually led 42-29 after the first quarter. Then Doncic happened. The Lakers outscored Miami 38-23 in the third quarter, turning a deficit into a lead they didn’t give back. He finished a +7 on the night.
LeBron James was quietly magnificent alongside him: 19 points, 15 rebounds, and 10 assists for his latest triple-double, shooting 66.7% from the field.
For Miami: Bam Adebayo had 28 points and 10 rebounds in a losing effort. Tyler Herro added 21. The Heat shot 51.1% from the field — a perfectly respectable night that wasn’t close to enough.

The streak: Eight straight wins. The Lakers are playing the kind of basketball that makes a deep playoff run look plausible. They host the Orlando Magic Saturday with a 57% win probability, per SportRadar.
