- Aaron Phypers demands $150,000 from joint account with Denise Richards, claiming utilities shut off and eviction looming.
- Reality star's estranged husband says he owns copyrights to her OnlyFans photos and deserves share of millions earned.
- Judge denied Phypers' emergency request citing insufficient evidence after Richards filed opposition to his claims of being locked out.
LOS ANGELES (TDR) — The divorce between Denise Richards and Aaron Phypers just hit a new low, with the frequency medicine practitioner telling a judge he's literally about to be homeless while the former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star allegedly keeps him locked out of their joint millions.
In court documents filed this week and obtained by TMZ, Phypers painted a desperate picture of his current situation, claiming Richards took control of their joint bank accounts after he filed for divorce in July and has left him with zero access to funds.
"Financially Desperate"
Phypers didn't hold back in his declaration to the California judge, describing his dire financial straits in vivid detail. The 53-year-old actor says he's not just broke—he's living without basic utilities.

"I am out of money and financially desperate," Phypers wrote in the court filing obtained by Page Six. "I am about to be evicted from the residence in which I am living. My utilities (water, power, gas) have all been turned off already."
The reality TV personality claims he's being pushed out of the Calabasas rental home he once shared with Richards, with $120,000 in unpaid back rent hanging over his head. He argues that since both their names are on the lease, the 54-year-old actress owes half of that amount despite her previous claims that she moved out years ago.
Phypers disputes Richards' version of events, pointing out that she left behind 15 rescue dogs and significant personal belongings at the property, making her liable for continuing rent payments in his view.
The OnlyFans Money Grab
Here's where things get spicy. Phypers is asking for $150,000 from their joint accounts, which he says once held millions before he filed for divorce. But he's not just asking for the money—he's claiming he earned it.
The frequency medicine practitioner acknowledged that a substantial chunk of the funds comes from Richards' lucrative OnlyFans account, which brings in more than $250,000 monthly according to divorce filings. However, Phypers argues he deserves a piece of that pie because he photographed much of her content.

"I took many of the photos on the page," Phypers stated in his filing, adding that he owns the copyrights to those images. Richards herself confirmed his involvement during a 2022 SiriusXM interview, saying "Aaron takes a lot of my content for me. He knows what guys like."
The breakdown of the requested $150,000 includes $120,000 for back rent, $10,000 for his divorce attorney, and additional expenses to keep him afloat. Phypers stressed this shouldn't be considered spousal support but rather "what is needed for me to survive, pay these debts and be able to live safely like a normal person."
Judge Says No
Despite Phypers' dramatic pleas, the judge wasn't buying it. Richards filed a swift response opposing his request, and the court denied his emergency motion citing "insufficient evidence of immediate loss or damage to property subject to disposition in the case."
The judge reminded both parties to adhere to the terms of their respective restraining orders and noted that Phypers may file a proper request "seeking attorney fees and or interim spousal support" through appropriate channels.
Richards appeared unbothered by the drama, posting cheerful photos from Comic-Con Los Angeles on October 1, where she reunited with the Starship Troopers cast. "Had such an incredible time with the 'Starship Troopers' family," the actress wrote, thanking fans for making the reunion special.
Equipment Drama Too
Money isn't the only thing Phypers wants back. He's also demanding Richards return health treatment equipment he says she took from his residence, claiming she intends to sell the items even though they belong to him.
Meanwhile, Richards has her own list of demands. The court previously ordered Phypers to return an iPhone and a black MacBook that she says he wrongfully took from her. Phypers claims he doesn't have the items, prompting the judge to instruct him to file a declaration to that effect.
The Ugly Split
The former couple's seven-year marriage officially ended when Phypers filed for divorce on July 7, listing their separation date as July 4 and citing irreconcilable differences. What followed has been nothing short of a reality TV nightmare played out in court filings.
Richards quickly filed for a restraining order against Phypers, accusing him of physical abuse and allegedly spying on her with hidden devices. Phypers fired back with cheating allegations, providing text messages he claims prove Richards was unfaithful during their marriage. Both have denied each other's accusations.
The couple, who wed in September 2018, also clashed over Richards' attempt to retrieve her belongings, rescue animals, and her mother's possessions from their former shared home. Richards accused Phypers of leaving the property in shambles, providing photographic evidence of damaged boxes, scattered clothing, and general destruction.
Phypers has maintained throughout the proceedings that he's the actual victim in the marriage, claiming Richards should be compensating him rather than the other way around. He also accused his estranged wife of deliberately manipulating the divorce proceedings to frustrate him, knowing he's vulnerable and unable to secure employment due to her involvement.
What's Next
With his emergency request denied, Phypers will need to follow proper legal channels if he wants access to funds or spousal support. Richards, meanwhile, is pushing to make her temporary restraining order permanent, effectively cutting off all contact between the former spouses.
The actress has also been spotted living her best life, recently appearing on the red carpet with her ex-husband Charlie Sheen at the premiere of his Netflix documentary "AKA Charlie Sheen," showing the world that she's not letting the Phypers drama bring her down.
