Officers at the scene reported finding white powder substances at the location. The victim received treatment for facial and knee injuries right at her home. It was revealed that she had been in an intermittent relationship with Peppers for around three years.

During his court appearance in Quincy District Court on Monday morning, Peppers posted bail set at $2,500 and was instructed to avoid any contact with the accuser. His lawyer highlighted certain evidence that could cast doubt on the accusations made against Peppers, mentioning video evidence specifically. Despite pleading not guilty, Peppers has agreed to abide by the court's order not to contact the woman involved.

Peppers’ case is set for another review on November 22; however, he is not required to attend this hearing personally.
