At a private dinner Sunday, Trump announced plans to sign nearly 100 executive orders within hours of assuming office, in what he described as “immediate, decisive action” to set the country on a new path.

The incoming administration's executive orders will focus on several key areas, including border security, energy policy, and federal government reforms. Trump emphasized that his measures on border security will be among the most aggressive in history. “The border security measures I will outline in my inaugural address tomorrow will be the most sweeping effort the world has ever seen,” Trump told supporters during a rally on Sunday evening.

Energy policy is also a top priority. According to Senate Republican sources, Trump plans to ease permitting for oil and gas production and open new areas for energy development. These changes aim to bolster domestic energy production and reduce regulatory barriers that hinder growth in the sector.

Reversing Biden-Era Policies

Trump also announced plans to pardon several individuals charged in connection with the Jan. 6 Capitol riots. While not providing specific names, he assured the rally audience they would be pleased with his decisions. “Tomorrow, everybody in this very large arena will be very happy with my decision,” he said, referencing the pardons.

Trump’s senior adviser, Jason Miller, hinted at possible signing ceremonies at two high-profile locations. Some executive orders may be signed inside the Capitol Rotunda shortly after Trump is sworn in, followed by additional actions at Capital One Arena, where the presidential parade will take place.
