He declared, “Putin shouldn’t have done it. He shouldn’t have done it, and it has to stop.” Trump emphasized his ability to negotiate a resolution quickly, stating he could end the war “in 24 hours” if he were leading the efforts.

When Hannity asked about Trump's strategy, the former president mentioned imposing “massive tariffs on Russia” as leverage.
