- Steve Bannon warns that if Democrats win in 2028, former President Donald Trump could face imprisonment, citing ongoing legal and political efforts to derail his future.

- Bannon urges Trump supporters to remain vigilant, calling the situation “political warfare” and emphasizing the importance of the 2026 midterms and 2028 presidential election.
Former White House strategist Steve Bannon has issued a stark warning: if a Democrat takes over the White House in 2028, President Donald Trump could face imprisonment. Speaking on Real America’s Voice during Thursday’s edition of Bolling!, Bannon voiced concerns about what he describes as a calculated effort by Democrats to derail Trump’s future.
“We’re fooling ourselves if we think Democrats aren’t pulling every string to stop President Trump,” Bannon declared. He emphasized that the left is determined to use every tool at their disposal to block Trump’s agenda and, if possible, put him behind bars.

Trump’s Legal Battles: The Bigger Picture
Trump's legal troubles have been a frequent topic in both liberal and conservative circles. Currently, Trump is facing four criminal cases, including 34 counts of falsifying business records in New York. These charges stem from allegations surrounding payments made during the 2016 campaign.
Additionally, Trump is under two federal indictments, handled by former Special Counsel Jack Smith, over serious accusations such as attempts to overturn the 2020 election results and improper retention of classified documents. Smith, however, dropped some of these cases after Trump returned to office, citing long-standing DOJ policies against prosecuting sitting presidents.
The only active case now resides in Georgia, though it appears to have stalled. Bannon noted that these legal challenges are not coincidental but are part of a broader effort to discredit Trump and hinder his campaign ambitions.
The Role of Judge James Boasberg
Bannon also criticized U.S. District Judge James Boasberg, whom he accused of unfair bias against Trump. Boasberg has presided over several high-profile cases, including one where he reportedly ordered planes carrying Venezuelan immigrants to be returned, sparking controversy.
In another case, Boasberg was linked to a lawsuit involving a journalist from The Atlantic, who was unintentionally added to a Trump administration group chat discussing sensitive military plans. These incidents, according to Bannon, highlight what he sees as a pattern of targeting Trump’s administration and allies.

Bannon didn’t hold back, saying, “Judges like Boasberg have repeatedly been at the center of efforts to undermine Trump. Democrats know exactly what they’re doing, and they’re relentless.”
Political Warfare and the Stakes of 2028
Bannon painted a dire picture of what’s at stake. He argued that the 2026 midterms and 2028 presidential election are critical, warning that Democrats would seek to impeach Trump for a record third time if they regain the House.
“And God forbid we don’t win in ’28, President Trump is going to prison,” Bannon stated bluntly. He urged Trump supporters to stay vigilant, emphasizing that the last few years have been nothing short of “political warfare”.
“I’ve seen this firsthand,” Bannon shared, recalling his time in the Trump administration. “The lengths the left will go to are unprecedented. If we don’t wake up and fight back, we’re handing our country over to them on a silver platter.”
What This Means for Trump Supporters
For Trump’s base, Bannon’s comments serve as a rallying cry. He urged supporters to remain engaged and spread awareness about the challenges Trump faces. The next few years, according to him, will define not just Trump’s future but the direction of the nation.
