Fatal Incident Shakes Litchfield

The crash occurred around 9 p.m. in Litchfield, New Hampshire. According to the Litchfield Police Department, officers responded to reports of a collision involving Burke’s Toyota Corolla, a Mitsubishi Outlander, and a motorcycle. Upon arrival, first responders found 57-year-old Jeffrey Day, the motorcyclist, unresponsive at the scene. Tragically, he was pronounced dead.

Police shared that Burke’s vehicle intentionally struck Day’s motorcycle, based on witness statements and physical evidence. The subsequent crash with the Mitsubishi happened as its driver swerved to avoid the sliding motorcycle.
