In a shocking revelation by CNN, Mark Robinson, the Republican nominee for governor of North Carolina, is under fire for disturbing comments made on an adult website several years ago.

These comments included expressions of admiration for Adolf Hitler, self-identification as a “black Nazi,” and alarming statements supporting the reintroduction of slavery. Specifically, Robinson was quoted in a 2010 forum post stating his willingness to purchase enslaved individuals if given the opportunity.

Further complicating his controversial stance, Robinson has been vocal in opposing transgender rights while paradoxically divulging his consumption of transgender pornography and labeling himself as a “perv.”

In anticipation of CNN’s exposé, Robinson issued a preemptive video statement vehemently denying the accusations leveled against him and confirmed his intention to continue his gubernatorial campaign.

Despite receiving commendations from former President Donald Trump at various rallies, this report has prompted calls within the Republican Party in North Carolina for Robinson’s withdrawal from the race. Jonathan Bridges, who previously managed Mark Walker’s campaign against Robinson in the GOP primary, articulated concerns over the negative impact Robinson’s candidacy might have on other Republican candidates and Trump’s prospects in North Carolina.

According to state law, GOP leaders have the authority to appoint a successor should Robinson opt to end his candidacy before the stipulated deadline. The posts in question were made on Nude Africa between 2008 and 2012 and ranged from sexually explicit narratives to discussions on abortion and rape. Additionally, Robinson’s vehement critique of Rev. Martin Luther King Jr. led some users to mistake him for a white supremacist. Notably, amidst criticism during Obama’s presidency, he expressed preference for Hitler over current Washington leadership.
