- Conservative podcaster Candace Owens claims the late Charlie Kirk appeared in a vivid weekend dream revealing he was betrayed before his death.
- Owens compared the experience to her pregnancy dreams, citing a 2023 incident when she predicted her producer was expecting a boy.
- The dream revelation follows weeks of conspiracy theories from Owens about federal cover-ups and alleged Israeli involvement in Kirk’s assassination.
Candace Owens revealed on her podcast Tuesday that she experienced what she described as a vivid dream in which Charlie Kirk, the conservative activist assassinated at Utah Valley University on Sept. 10, communicated with her from beyond the grave. The right-wing commentator told her audience that Kirk informed her during this dream that he had been betrayed.
“I want you guys to know something. I want to share this with you. You can take it or you can leave it, but Charlie was betrayed,” Owens said on her podcast Candace. “I’ve known this really since the first second, but I rarely have vivid dreams, and I did in fact have a very vivid one over the weekend.”
Owens connected the intensity of her dream to pregnancy, noting that vivid dreams typically occur for her when she’s expecting. She cited a 2023 incident when she claimed a dream revealed her producer was pregnant with a boy, which she said was confirmed a week after she texted the woman about the premonition.

The podcaster, who has 4.5 million YouTube subscribers, told her audience she believes deceased and unborn people can communicate through dreams. “I believe people can communicate in dreams on their way in and on their way out of this world,” Owens said.
Her dream revelation included additional details about Kirk’s alleged betrayal. Owens said she doesn’t know the specific identity of the betrayer but felt certain the truth would emerge soon. “I also felt in the dream that it is soon going to be revealed. That it’s actually inevitable that it’s going to be revealed,” she said. “That there is nothing and no one that is going to stop the truth from coming out and it is going to have international consequences.”
Owens concluded with characteristic confidence: “Take that to the bank. Quote me on that. Women tend to have a stronger intuition about people, I would say.”
Weeks of conspiracy theories
The dream claim represents Owens’s latest attempt to challenge the official narrative surrounding Kirk’s death. Last month, she suggested a “federal conspiracy” was at play in Kirk’s murder investigation. “I’ve just spent hours working through this timeline and I am now fully of the belief that this is in fact a Federal conspiracy,” Owens wrote on social media. “They are lying about Charlie Kirk’s assasination [sic].”

Tyler James Robinson, 22, of Washington, Utah, surrendered to authorities the day after Kirk’s assassination and faces aggravated murder charges. Prosecutors are seeking the death penalty, citing what they describe as a politically motivated attack. The rifle used in the shooting was found in nearby woods with engraved messages expressing transgender and antifascist ideology.
Dividing the MAGA movement
Owens has also alleged that billionaire hedge fund manager Bill Ackman staged an “intervention” with Kirk at a Hamptons event last month, claiming Ackman pressured Kirk over his views on Israel. Multiple attendees, including Ackman himself, have denied these claims, calling them fabrications.
Critics within conservative circles have grown increasingly frustrated with Owens’s theories. MAGA influencer Catturd posted that “Candace Owens is just a few days away of blaming Charlie Kirk’s assassination on Kermit the Frog.” Meanwhile, fact-checkers have noted that Owens has provided no verifiable evidence for any of her allegations about Kirk’s death being part of a larger conspiracy.
Credibility concerns
The dream revelation comes as Owens faces a 22-count defamation lawsuit from French President Emmanuel Macron and First Lady Brigitte Macron over claims she made about Brigitte Macron’s gender identity. Owens had said she would “stake [her] entire professional reputation” on the allegations.
Kirk’s widow, Erika Kirk, has pledged to continue her husband’s work with Turning Point USA and has not publicly commented on Owens’s various conspiracy theories about his death.
Do dreams offer genuine spiritual communication, or do Owens’s claims exploit grief for attention and influence?
