• Producer Blake Neff accuses Owens of harassing staff with false allegations about founder’s death
  • Organization invites influencer to Phoenix studio to address claims in live-streamed event
  • Owens alleges TPUSA leadership “betrayed” Kirk and urges donors to request refunds

PHOENIX, AZ (TDR) — Officials at Turning Point USA invited MAGA influencer Candace Owens to participate in a live-streamed event debunking her conspiracy theories about the murder of the group’s founder, Charlie Kirk. The Turning Point challenges Candace Owens invitation came Wednesday after months of escalating accusations from the conservative commentator.

Producer Delivers Lengthy Rebuke

Charlie Kirk Show producer Blake Neff read a lengthy statement on Wednesday after Owens accused Turning Point leadership of betraying their former boss. He detailed the specific allegations Owens has made since Kirk was shot and killed in September at Utah Valley University during his American Comeback Tour.

“Ever since Charlie’s murder, Candace Owens has leveled a flood of allegations against people at Turning Point USA,” Neff said. “She has suggested that Michael McCoy, Charlie’s chief of staff, knew Charlie would be murdered, was happy that he died, and stayed silent because he was told he would be the next Charlie.”

Neff continued by describing additional accusations from Owens claiming Kirk’s security team intentionally denied him first aid after the shooting to ensure his death. He characterized her claims as “either lies or they are innuendos thrown around with a total, reckless disregard for the truth.”

Harassment Claims Against Owens’ Followers

The producer accused Owens of manipulating her audience into harassing Turning Point staff and Kirk’s family members. He stated the organization has received more harassment from Owens’ supporters than from Antifa members who openly celebrate Kirk’s murder.

“What our friends have had to endure is not funny and it’s not insignificant. It is evil. I have seen it,” Neff declared.

According to Neff, the show has received thousands of emails requesting that Owens be given a platform to present evidence supporting her claims. Rather than ignore the requests, Turning Point announced plans to host a comprehensive live stream addressing every allegation.

The invitation follows Owens’ December 2 announcement that she had received information confirming her suspicions about Kirk’s death. She stated with “full confidence” that Kirk was betrayed by TPUSA leadership and some who eulogized him at his memorial.

“Yes, I will be naming names and providing evidence for my claims,” Owens wrote on social media. “And I am making a personal plea to every well-meaning person who donated to this Godforsaken organization to request a refund. You were lied to. And leadership knew.”

Owens has previously alleged connections between Kirk’s death and Israeli intelligence agencies, released text messages she claims reveal Kirk’s private views, and suggested Egyptian military aircraft tracked Kirk and his wife for years before the assassination.

Conservative Media Responds With Skepticism

Several conservative commentators have publicly rejected Owens’ theories. Radio host Joe Pags Pagliarulo accused her of “dragging this nonsense out for almost three months” to condition her audience into believing she possesses exclusive information. Political consultant Jeff Hunt criticized Owens for portraying Kirk as weak and unable to control his own organization.

Kirk’s chief of staff Michael McCoy responded positively to the live stream invitation, thanking Neff and stating he would be “happy to address all of this” publicly.

Tyler Robinson, a 22-year-old from Provo, Utah, was arrested and charged with first-degree murder following the September 10 shooting. Authorities have described the attack as an isolated incident carried out by a disturbed individual.
