A new viral video has captured President Trump complaining on a live microphone that Senate Republicans are blocking or delaying his U.S. attorney nominations.

Trump vented that the obstruction has left many posts unfilled or in limbo. He specifically blamed Senator Chuck Grassley and the "blue slip" tradition, a Senate courtesy that allows home-state senators to block his nominees. Trump added that this sometimes forces him to consider nominees backed by Democrats.
