Corrections Log

January 26, 2026 — The Wayne Dupree Show, Episode E2210 During this episode, co-host Jason Robertson, a Minnesota resident, stated that employees of apartment buildings in Minneapolis can vouch for all residents to register to vote. This was inaccurate. Under Minnesota law, vouching for residency is limited to staff of designated “residential facilities” such as homeless shelters and adult foster care programs. Apartment buildings are not included in that definition under Minnesota Secretary of State guidelines. The Dupree Report regrets any confusion the statement may have caused.

September 24, 2025 — The Wayne Dupree Show, Episode E2161 During this episode, guest co-host Todd Peterson stated that UN staff deliberately pranked President Trump by stalling an escalator during his visit to the UN General Assembly. This was inaccurate. A UN investigation found the escalator stopped after a built-in safety mechanism was triggered, likely by a member of Trump’s own videography team. There is no evidence of a deliberate prank by UN staff. The Dupree Report regrets any confusion the statement may have caused.

August 13, 2025 — The Wayne Dupree Show, Episode E2138 During this episode, co-host Jason Robertson stated that Ghislaine Maxwell is permitted to leave prison during the day and return at night. This was inaccurate. Maxwell is serving a 20-year sentence and is not eligible for unsupervised furloughs under Bureau of Prisons regulations, which require inmates to have fewer than two years remaining on their sentence to qualify for routine unsupervised release. The Dupree Report regrets any confusion the statement may have caused.

July 15, 2025 — The Wayne Dupree Show, Episode E2050 During this episode, co-host Jason Robertson stated he was “sure there are some American soldiers over there in the woods fighting” against Russia in Ukraine. There is no verified evidence of U.S. combat troops operating in Ukraine. The statement was opinion and speculation, not a reported fact. The Dupree Report regrets any confusion the statement may have caused.

July 14, 2025 — The Wayne Dupree Show, Episode E2049 During this episode, co-host Jason Robertson stated that the U.S. government recorded a federal budget surplus “for the first time in hundreds of months.” This was incorrect. According to the U.S. Treasury Fiscal Service, the federal government has recorded 34 monthly surpluses since June 2005. The Dupree Report regrets the error.

February 6, 2025 — The Wayne Dupree Show, Episode E2036 During this episode, co-host Jason Robertson referenced immigrants receiving Social Security and Medicaid benefits in the context of discussing DOGE fraud investigations. For clarity: undocumented immigrants are not legally eligible for Social Security or Medicaid benefits under federal law. The comment was intended to reference potential fraud broadly, not eligibility rules. The Dupree Report regrets any confusion the statement may have caused.
