Sen. Mitch McConnell has been hospitalized since June 14, but his office still has not disclosed what prompted his admission or what treatment he is receiving. Emergency dispatch recordings from his Washington address reportedly referenced an unconscious person, cardiac arrest and “CPR in progress,” though the recordings do not identify McConnell. His office says the 84-year-old senator is improving and working with staff. He is set to retire in January.
