President Donald Trump’s advisor, Stephen Miller, criticized Fox News during a live segment on Tuesday, suggesting the network should “fire its pollster.” His remarks came after the network’s latest polling showed the president’s approval rating at 44%, sparking controversy over polling accuracy.

Speaking to Fox News anchor John Roberts, Miller rejected the data, stating, “It is our opinion that Fox News needs to fire its pollster.” He further argued that previous polls had inaccurately predicted election outcomes, referencing claims about Kamala Harris becoming the 47th president.

Fox News Defends Polling Integrity

Roberts defended the network’s polling methodology, reiterating, “Here at Fox News, we stand by our polling, as we always have.” Fox News’ polling standards have long been a topic of debate, but the network maintains its data is based on rigorous research practices.

Earlier this month, Miller also clashed with Fox News host Bill Hemmer over the administration’s immigration policies, including the deportation of Kilmar Abrego Garcia, which the Supreme Court later ruled was illegal. Miller insisted the deportation was justified, labeling Garcia as “an illegal alien from El Salvador.”
